She completed her MSc in Economics, which helped her develop strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Alongside this, she pursued a Management Diploma and later earned a certification as an Occupational Health and Safety Officer from the Abu Dhabi Government. These qualifications gave her a balanced understanding of business management, operations, finance, and workplace leadership.
Before moving to the UAE in 2018, she was working at Standard Chartered. At that time, she had only been with the bank for around three months when she received an opportunity from the UAE. It became one of the most important and difficult decisions of her life because she was stepping into an entirely new country, industry, and set of challenges.
She especially acknowledges and appreciates the support of her line manager and regional head at Standard Chartered, who encouraged her to accept the UAE opportunity. Their trust gave her the confidence to take a major step forward in her career.
Most importantly, she credits a huge part of her journey to her father, who trusted and supported her when many people around them were uncertain about sending a young woman alone to another country for work. She became the first girl in her family to leave home and move abroad independently to build a professional career. That trust became one of the biggest motivations behind her success because she was determined to prove that his belief in her was right.
When she joined Consegna Delivery Services in 2018, she was also the first female employee within the company. She started as an Accounting Manager, but over time, she became involved in operations management, HR, client relations, and team development. She remains deeply grateful to the company’s CEO and Owner, Mr. Hammad, who gave her an open platform to prove herself, develop her professional abilities, and take on leadership responsibilities. His trust gave her the confidence to grow beyond her role and contribute to building the company.

The early years were extremely challenging. She still remembers spending late nights alone in the office, sometimes working until midnight to meet deadlines, prepare salaries, evaluate operational data, maintain records, and manage client complaints. She even spent her first New Year in the UAE alone in the office while working. There were nights when she could barely sleep because of the pressure and responsibilities, but those struggles made her stronger, more disciplined, and more determined.
One of the most meaningful parts of her journey has been building and supporting teams. She started as the only female in the company, and today she proudly sees many women growing professionally within the organization. It gives her immense satisfaction to mentor, train, and guide team members, not only professionally but emotionally as well. She takes pride in the trust employees place in her when sharing their challenges and seeking guidance during difficult situations. For her, leadership is not only about achieving targets; it is about empowering people, supporting them during stressful times, and helping them grow into confident professionals.
Throughout her career, she has not only supported and mentored female employees, but has also actively guided and trained male team members, including managers and supervisors. Currently serving as the General Manager at Consegna Delivery Services, Palwasha Siddique has worked across accounting, operations management, HR, administration, client handling, and team development since joining the company in 2018.
When the company began, the team consisted of only four or five people managing multiple responsibilities with limited resources. Through consistency, hard work, and teamwork, the organization gradually expanded into a large operational company with around 90 white-collar employees and more than 3,500 blue-collar staff, including riders and operational teams.
What sets the company apart is its commitment to operational excellence, client trust, and people management. In the beginning, the team struggled to secure clients and often waited outside offices simply for an opportunity to present themselves and request meetings. Through persistence and dedication, they earned trust within the UAE market and established themselves among the top-performing delivery service providers.
The company’s growth has been driven by strong teamwork, discipline, adaptability, and the ability to maintain reliable service standards in a highly competitive industry.
